The National Assembly building, where laws are passed is integral to Namibian society, forming one half of their bicameral system. During the first few months of COVID lockdown, Stage Audio Works Namibia were drafted in to design a complete paperless conference system in conjunction with Taiden, as their previous system had run its course.
The interior of the building had to be preserved due to its cultural and historical significance, which meant that the team had to find clever ways to install equipment unobtrusively. Working to the brief, SAW and Taiden supplied an IP based solution, supported by individual all-in-one interactive terminals for each member of congress.
